AgentWeb’s runtime endpoint at https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp uses MCP Streamable HTTP. Public tool metadata is available before authentication; execution requires scoped credentials.

Transport

POST https://mcp.agentweb.us/mcp follows the MCP Streamable HTTP specification, including standard headers such as mcp-session-id, mcp-protocol-version, and Last-Event-ID. Unauthenticated callers receive one-link onboarding JSON; use /.well-known/mcp/tools.json for unauthenticated tool metadata. Tool calls finish with a typed JSON result containing status, verification, receipt, or a structured failure. Long-running map builds are not streamed: request_map returns a request ID, and agents poll agentweb_map_status for progress.

Error recovery

Structured errors include an error code, human-readable message, and retryability. Rate-limited responses return a Retry-After header; agents should honor it and avoid retrying irreversible actions without a fresh Idempotency-Key and verification state.
